Burn Permits(Open Air Burning By-Law 10-04 Burn Permits are iavailable at the Mulmur Township Administration Office. The office is located at 758070 2nd Line East, Terra Nova and the office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:30 P.M. Permits are free and expire on December 31st of the year of issuance.A reminder that no person shall set a fire in the open air without first having obtained a fire permit from the Office. Failure to conduct the burn in accordance with the by-law may result in a fine plus fire extinguishing costs. Prior to setting open air fires, anyone within the Mulmur-Melancthon fire area only shall contact their respective fire station advising them of the location, date and time the fire is set. A map showing the Fire Dept. boundaries is attached as well as on page 2 of the fire permit. Fire permits will be denied to properties without an emergency number posted. |
