Application for Dog License Application for Kennel/Pound License Canine Mediation Submission Form AS OF JANUARY 1, 2003 all applications for dog licenses must be accompanied with proof of spaying or neutering in order to receive the discounted amount. There is also a 25% reduction for proof of obedience course completion. AS OF JANUARY 1 of each year all dog and kennel licenses are due and payable. All Dog and Kennel Licenses are issued from the Township Municipal Office only. We request that you complete the Dog License Application Form and return it with proof of spaying with the appropriate fee according to the schedules below. If you have tenants on your property who have dogs, please make them aware of the following fee schedule. AFTER MARCH 31, all unpaid dog licenses will be subject to penalty as shown in the prices listed below. The Canine Control Officer will be doing routine checks to verify that the appropriate licenses have been obtained. We encourage you to obtain your licenses prior to this date. DOGS RUNNING AT LARGE - Under Mulmur Township By-Law11-02, a dog shall be deemed to be running at large when found in any place other than the premises of the owner and not under the control of any person. A dog is under the control of a person when the dog is physically restrained by a leash. NUISANCE – No owner shall allow his/her dog to become a nuisance by excessive barking or howling. Any person aggrieved by such a nuisance may appear before a Justice of the Peace and swear out an information form charging such Owner with a breach of this Section (4(d)). PLEASE NOTE, THAT ALL DOGS THAT ARE OWNED, HARBORED, OR HABITUALLY KEPT ON YOUR PREMISES MUST BE LICENSED UNDER THE BY-LAW OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MULMUR A copy of By-Law 11-02 is available at the Office or on the website
